Cambridge - Boston

Boston has become one of my favorite places to visit. I usually go to get a dose of the big city life but Cambridge sparked my interest. Home to MIT and Harvard, you’d expect it to be just a college town, but Cambridge has been a product of some amazing bars and restaurants. It’s also a very walkable town, a great place to bring my dog for the weekend.

I love a local experience. Which was why we chose to stay at a Blueground apartment. Beautifully furnished, turn key and centrally located in desirable areas of Boston. Everything we needed was provided upon arrival. The apartment was located directly in Kendall Square across from MIT. The Blueground checkin was effortless, we literally show up and start living! Blueground is also located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Dubai, Athens, and Istanbul.

Located in Harvard Square, Harvest in Cambridge was a must on our list! Harvest offers contemporary New England cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. They have a heated patio with flower boxes and a fireplace for those chilly spring/summer nights.

For a night cap we wandered around the corner to The Longfellow Bar part of the restaurant Alden & Harlow. This beautiful architectural neighborhood bar brings a relaxing eating/drinking experience. Longfellow offers some amazing craft style cocktails! They also have a sister restaurant called Waypoint trendy new restaurant that we visited for oysters.
